Here’s what you’ll need to perform the test yourself, including a materials list and a downloadable assembly diagram.
- 20ft. of 1/2" CPVC and PEX pipe
- 1 small can of one-step solvent cement
- PEX connection tool
- 6 tees
- 8 caps
- 5 elbows (for PEX use bend supports)
- 26 crimp or expansion rings for PEX
- Ratchet cutters
- Ruler or tape measure
- De-burring + chamfering tool
