FlowGuard Gold CPVC vs. PEX - Speed Test

Find Out Which Plastic Plumbing System Installs the Fastest

Third-party studies – and even one by a PEX manufacturer – have documented that FlowGuard Gold CPVC installs just as fast or faster than PEX*. Despite the evidence, the perception persists that PEX installs faster.

In this video, you can watch an experienced plumber assemble the exact same section of pipe using the FlowGuard Gold CPVC solvent weld process, PEX expansion fittings, and PEX crimp fittings.

Watch the video to see which plumbing system assembles the fastest. If you’re still skeptical that FlowGuard Gold CPVC can save you time, perform the test yourself. Complete the form to receive an exclusive download for the materials list and assembly diagram.
